Entrance Requirement

Students seeking admission to the Applied Design College-Preparatory Program must meet the following requirements to be considered: 

• Completed online application by the deadline 
• No lower than a B average in any courses in the 7th and 8th grades 
• Completed accelerated math and honors core courses in 7th AND 8th grades with no lower than a B average 

Must have: 

• Teacher recommendations from three of student’s current core teachers: math, science, social studies, English Language Arts 
• Writing sample if selected to progress to the next step in the process 

The Applied Design College-Preparatory Program Admissions Committee will also consider the following during the selection process: 

• Standardized test scores 
• Discipline record 
• Attendance record
