Gulf Shores Unveils New Aviation Lab at Gulf Shores International Airport

In October 2021, Gulf Shores High School proudly introduced its brand-new Aviation Lab—a state-of-the-art learning space designed to inspire the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals.

Led by our new aviation teacher and certified pilot, Haley Kellogg, alongside dedicated community mentors and students, the lab is located inside the Gulf Air Center Hangar at Gulf Shores International Airport at Jack Edwards Field.

An open house event welcomed stakeholders and community members to tour the facility, witness the exciting progress students have made, and celebrate this incredible step forward in aviation education.
