Club Description:

To promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. Students looking to join must be a member of the Health Academy or interested in the health profession. 

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a national student led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. 

"HOSA is a global student-led organization whose mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience." HOSA strives to incorporate instructional tools into the health science related curriculum and classroom. HOSA members also have the opportunity to develop both leadership and technical skills, as well as a chance to compete at the state and international level during the annual Leadership Conferences. The mission of HOSA is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.  The purpose of HOSA-Future Health Professionals is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.

Eligibility: High School students interested in a future career in Health Care.

Season: Throughout the school year with possible opportunities for involvement over the summer (International Leadership Conference and volunteer opportunities)
