Creating ACT Account & Requesting ACT Score Reports
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to create an ACT account and request that your scores be sent to colleges or other institutions.
Creating an ACT Account
- Visit the ACT website: www.act.org.

Click "MyACT".
- Click "Create Account" and enter the required personal information.
- Follow the prompts to set up your profile, including academic details and test preferences.
- Choose a password that you will remember, as you will need it to access your account in the future. Do not create multiple accounts, as this can cause issues with accessing your scores.
- Once completed, you can register for an ACT test or access your scores if you’ve already taken the exam. This is also where you will register to take the ACT if you have not already done so.
Requesting ACT Score Reports
- Log in to your MyACT account at www.act.org.
- Navigate to the "Scores" section.
- Click on "Send My Scores."
- Select the test date for which you want to send scores.
- Choose the colleges or institutions to receive your scores.
- Review the order and proceed to payment if required.
- Submit your request. You will receive a confirmation once the request is processed.
