Club Description: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private school through grade 12. Members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.  

Club Information: At GSHS, FCCLA helps to organize and participates in school culinary competitions, community events, and fundraises to help people of our community.  As a member, you are qualified to participate in local, state, and national competitive events. Through participation in competitive events, becoming involved in community service opportunities, student leadership, and attending leadership conferences, members develop real world skills, explore Career Pathways, and become college- and career-ready.

Sponsor: Kristen Madsen & Amanda Talantis Eligibility: Students need to have taken at least one Family & Consumer Class during middle or high school to join. Dues are $30.  That covers the cost of state and national dues and includes the cost of the T-shirt.  Season: All year!

Meetings: We meet once a month.  Meetings are held on the third Friday of the month, during 1st Focus in Mrs. Madsen's classroom, room 123.
