Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
Organization Description:
FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students involved in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education from kindergarten through 12th grade. The organization helps members develop essential life skills by focusing on character building, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation. Through leadership opportunities, community service, and competitive events, FCCLA empowers students to become strong leaders in their families, careers, and communities.
Organization Information:
At Gulf Shores High School, FCCLA members help organize and take part in culinary competitions, community events, and fundraisers that support our local community. As a member, you can compete at the local, state, and national levels.
By participating in competitions, community service, leadership roles, and conferences, members build real-world skills, explore career pathways, and prepare for college and future careers.
